Our tree experts will examine the following to determine whether your tree needs to be removed:

• Ground inspection

The root system is a tree’s support system and the most essential part of a tree. If the roots appear to be rotting or decaying, your tree is most likely sick. Fungal growth around the base of your tree is another sign of decay. Cracked or raised soil on the opposite side of a leaning tree is a sign that your tree is uprooting.

• Trunk inspection

A tree that is missing bark may be suffering from a fungus attack. If the trunk is covered in very fine sawdust, your tree might be infested with ants or other harmful insects. Trees with multiple trunks often break because the trunks are weakly attached. Cracks or splits where the trunks meet are signs of possible danger.

• Branch inspection

Branches that are completely brown and are stripped of their leaves are most likely dead. Dead branches often break off from the tree and can be a great danger to anyone or anything that is in its way.
